    Works great, poor longevity

    I've had this for just under a year and it amazing but already needs replacing (or at least replacement parts). The inner strap Velcro barely works (the entire mask pops off my head regularly) and I've already had to super glue the Velcro back onto one of the eye cups. It lasted about 8-9 months before starting to fall apart. Don't get me wrong, it's the best mask I've ever worn, perfect for slide sleepers and the Bluetooth is extremely comfortable. But for this price, it needs to last longer.

    Almost a perfect product

    Gotta give Manta Sleep a shout out for making a comfortable, breathable sleep mask that does a great job of blocking out light and delivering soothing audio for a side sleeper like myself.

    My biggest complaint, however, is that the velcro on the mask isn't very strong and pops off in the middle of the night. Usually wakes me up. Kind of annoying.

    Great sleep mask

    The mask really does block out the light and helps me to stay asleep longer. The sound comes in clear and the battery stays charged for a good amount of time. My only complaint is the Velcro isn’t as strong as I would like to keep it in place as my head is small and I have to wrap it almost to the end of the band.

    Good product but doesnt meet all of my needs

    I purchased this to drown out train horn noise that begin at 4:30 am. The mask works fine, but despite having the volume all the way up, I can still hear the train noise. That might be due to the fact that I am listening to quiet music when I sleep.

    The mask fits very firmly over my eyes and in the back of the head, but I wish the mask was tighter around my ears, that might help with mitigating outside sounds

    However, even with saying that, I would also worry about comfort. Sometimes when I am sleeping on my sides my ears do become sore from the mask and I end up taking off the mask in the middle of the night.

    Overall, the product does meet all advertised descriptions. It does provide darkness if you sleep in a bright room. Most nights it’s comfortable. And it easily connected to my phone via Bluetooth.

    Amazing mask and customer service. Look no further.

    This mask has everything you need. The it sits comfortably on your face and its adjustability is clutch. Bought with the cooling attachment as well as aromatherapy. When I needed to troubleshoot an issue, the customer service was beyond amazing. They talked me through things, and clearly had a legitimate interest in ways that they could improve this already incredible product. They were kind, actively listening, and I was left with a genuine sense that they really wanted to help me get better sleep. Nica Salalac was incredibly helpful, and this product is the bees knees. Expensive? Yes, but worth every penny. You spend 1/3 of your life sleeping, it’s well worth the investment, as the other 2/3 are so greatly improved by technology like this. Thank you so much for changing my sleeping game!

How should I wash Manta SOUND Sleep Mask? Is it machine washable?

To wash Manta SOUND Sleep Mask, follow these steps:

  1. Peel off the outer layer of the head strap (which houses the speakers and Bluetooth® components). This part is not machine washable and should only be wiped with a damp cloth.
  2. The eye cups and the inner layer of the head strap (which the eye cups attach to) are machine washable. Put these parts in the included mesh pouch and put in the washer. Wash with cold water. Once washed, air dry these parts by laying them flat.
How long does the battery last? And are there audible battery notifications?

The mask’s battery lasts about 20 hours on non-stop playback at full volume (2x as long as leading alternatives). To preserve the battery, Manta SOUND features smart auto-off after 30 minutes of no audio.

And unlike most Bluetooth® masks, SOUND will never interrupt your sleep with a battery notification.

What materials are used in Manta SOUND Sleep Mask?
The head strap on Manta SOUND Sleep Mask is made of high-quality perforated foam and mesh, while the interior is made of soft Modal fabric.
Will my sleep partner be able to hear what I’m listening to?

I’m a side sleeper. Is Manta SOUND Sleep Mask suitable for me?
Yes. Manta SOUND Sleep Mask’s Bluetooth® headphones are only 5mm — as thin as a yoga mat — so you can’t feel them at all, even when you’re on your side. And the C-shaped eye cups sit completely flat against your temple, so you can lie comfortably on your side.
